Bunkers Before leaving a bunker, a player should carefully fill up
and smooth over
all holes and footprints. Players should not climb up the face of
bunkers. It is the policy of Sandiway Golf Club that rakes, after use, be
left outside bunkers.
Golf Carts Players should not take trolleys up to the greens, or between the green side bunkers.
Buggies The Sandiway golf course is not considered suitable for buggies and there
are none for hire. However for those players who for medical reasons need
the facility of a buggy that they own use would be allowed subject to the
prior approval of the Manager. For a copy

Insurance
All players are strongly advised to have Third Party Liability Insurance. In the event of a claim arising for damages or injury caused to a third party, on any part of the Club or adjoining property, the Club will endeavour to identify the individual responsible for causing the damage or injury for the purpose of answering the claim.
Footwear
The golf course is very undulating and at certain times of
the year can get slippery. Golfers should ensure that they wear
appropriate footwear for the conditions and soft spikes or spikeless golf shoes
are worn at their own risk.
Mobile phones
Mobile phones must not be used either in the Clubhouse or on the Course.
They must be switched off.
Priority
on the Course Priority on the tee is to be extended by all members to the Captain, President
and Lady Captain. On both Ladies' and Gentlemen's competition days
priority is to be extended to competitors.
Tee Restrictions
Except on Tuesdays, members have the following tee reservations for the first tee:
8.30 - 9. 30 am
12.30 - 1.30 pm (during British Summer Time)
11.30 am - 12. 30 pm (during the winter months)
On Thursdays the lady members have the following tee reservations:
1st tee 9:00 am to 1:30 pm & the 9th tee 10:30 am until 3:00 pm.
Practice Facilities
There are three areas where practice is permitted; the practice putting green in front of the
clubhouse, the practice ground to the right of the 1st hole and the temporary hole behind the 8th
tee, but only when it is not in play.
On the practice ground members must play from the edge and hit away from the dual carriageway.
Shots must
only be hit up the practice ground. that is away from the Professional's Shop and the Clubhouse.
The temporary hole is only to be used for close range chipping, putting and bunker practice.
Full shots should not be played and care should he taken not to take divots when
practicing.
Chipping is not permitted on the practice Putting Green.
Dress
Rules
Smart casual dress suitable for a private
golf club is permitted in the Clubhouse but jacket and ties for gentlemen and
equivalent standard of dress for ladies must be worn in the dining room after
6:30 pm. Tailored shorts are allowed on the course when worn with
predominately white sports socks or self-coloured-knee length socks.
On
Invitation Days jacket
and tie must be worn in the
restaurant throughout the day.
Car
Parks
Changing in the car parks is strictly prohibited. Please use the locker rooms provided
Note Members and visitors failing to comply with the above dress rules will he asked to leave the
Clubhouse and will
not be permitted to play.
Members' Guests
Members may sign in guests at a
with member rate, but only if the guest(s) are playing with the member(s) who signs them in.
A guest is not permitted to play at the with member rate more than four times per calendar year.
Members of visiting parties or societies may not be introduced at the with member
rate under any circumstances.
