The original Clubhouse was built in 1926 with the financial assistance of Brunner Mond and Company. Its external style followed that of a traditional Cheshire farmhouse; an insurance policy for the time. As the Club thrived and the membership increased extensions and facilities were added, particularly in recent years, but the character and aesthetics have been maintained. It is a Clubhouse for golfers.
Except for the changing rooms, all the public rooms are non-restricted. In addition to modern locker and changing rooms there are two bar lounges and on the first floor two dining rooms. Facilities are routinely modernised and the lounges were recently refurbished, renovated and decorated.
The House can accommodate meetings, functions and events across a range of menus and prices. Contact details are shown in the box to the right and any member of the House Team will be pleased to respond to your enquiry.
