Sandiway member to Captain Royal St.Davids

Congratulations to Denise Burchell who becomes Lady Captain at Royal St.Davids Golf Club this week where she has been a member since 1995. Denise has played in their scratch team for most her time at the club.

From everyone at Sandiway Golf Club we wish Denise the very best for year and we all hope you have a great one. 

The captaincy starts with a whirlwind tour of South Wales in the Welsh Team Championships at Royal Porthcawl and then Langland Bay.

One of the many highlights during her year will be her Captain’s Charity Day on Friday 10th August, the charities are the Local Primary School and the North Wales Air Ambulance.  It is £200 for a team of four, a shotgun start, 11am, any combination of teams.  A buffet will be provided at the conclusion of the game.  It will appear on the RSD website shortly for booking.

We hope a few members will play in the event to support Denise, who has also been a member of Sandiway Golf Club for nearly 20 years.
