Winter Open Rules
All competitors must be male playing members of a recognised golf club with an active CONGU handicap on 1st November 2017. Fully completed entry forms must be accompanied by a cheque for £160, payable to Sandiway Golf Club, together with a stamped addressed envelope, or bookings can be made online via the website – www.sandiwaygolf.co.uk
2. The Competition will be a 4 man team event Stableford, with a handicap allowance of 90%. The maximum handicap allowed is 24. Entry from higher handicaps will be accepted, but they must play off the maximum handicap of 24.
3. The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry without assigning a reason and entry fees will not be refunded on any entry cancelled after 9th November 2017
4. All disputes will be referred to the Committee for its decision, which will be final in all instances. In the event of a tie or ties, the Rules of Cheshire Union of Golf Clubs will apply.
5. Competitors will be made temporary members of Sandiway Golf Club for the day. Smart casual dress is allowed in the lounge of the Clubhouse.
6. Prize winners will be required to submit an up to date official CONGU handicap certificate and will receive vouchers for use in the Club Professional’s shop. There will be no prize giving on the day vouchers will be posted out after the event.
7. Players are requested to report to the starter on the 1st tee 10 minutes before their allotted tee time.

10. Private buggies are no longer permitted at Sandiway Golf Club. Club buggies are available for hire, by booking in advance. Please contact the Professional Shop to obtain full details of Sandiway Golf Club’s Buggy Policy, and to make any bookings, - course conditions permitting
